Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop quantitative/qualitative models to forecast market evolution and regulatory impacts
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader through whitepapers and industry keynotes
- Maintain a real-time 'Future Radar' monitoring geopolitical, technological, and cultural shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating complex futures into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, CFS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
