Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological, economic, and social trends impacting 2026 and beyond
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive innovations including AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions with commercial viability
- Design and execute innovation workshops for executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging future paradigms
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI tracking
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic thinking and future-oriented execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives with quantifiable market impact
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $1M+ budgets
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, ACMP) preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
