Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, quantum) to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness of innovations
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author horizon-scanning reports for internal and external audiences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of launching products with 3-5 year horizons
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight tools
- Portfolio of published trend reports or innovation roadmaps
