Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trajectories (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurointerfaces) to map 2026 innovation horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author whitepapers on disruptive market forces and regulatory impacts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions
- Monitor global signals (geopolitical, environmental, social) for early opportunity detection
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or adjacent fields
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-state implementations
- Exceptional storytelling skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (Delphi, STEEPLE)
