Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks with scenario planning methodologies
- Translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Facilitate executive workshops on future implications and strategic pivots
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author high-impact strategic briefs and future-state whitepapers
- Integrate foresight into quarterly business reviews and long-term capital allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing future roadmaps with measurable business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications or journals
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend forecasting and pattern recognition
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 major innovation initiatives brought to market
