Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts with rapid prototyping methodologies
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Build and cultivate an internal innovation network across engineering, marketing, and product teams
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend reports, innovation roadmaps, and stakeholder presentations
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Measure and communicate the ROI of innovation initiatives using KPIs tied to long-term competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology strategy with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching at least three market-disrupting products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
- Experience scaling innovation programs in matrixed organizations with global footprint
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field preferred
