Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends with 3-5 year predictive horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating disruptive innovations into core business operations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for future market shifts and competitive landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and internal strategy documents
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Strong background in at least one emerging technology domain (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
