Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop quantitative/qualitative foresight models using trend analysis, scenario planning, and Delphi techniques
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing strategies and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into product development pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms and their business implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related discipline (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published work in futurist journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Experience building cross-functional innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
