Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions using AI-powered trend analysis
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for healthcare, energy, and AI sectors
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Author thought leadership pieces published in top-tier industry journals
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning methodologies, and systems thinking
- Proficiency with trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner, Futurist.com)
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
- Strong network of industry disruptors and academic researchers
