Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain the corporate innovation roadmap with quantifiable 3-5 year strategic milestones
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation portfolio performance and risk assessment
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing moonshot projects with exponential growth potential
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and startup ecosystem mapping
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech trend analysis
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFtp) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
