Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and boards with compelling visual narratives
- Oversee the development of Horizon's 2026 innovation portfolio and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 or startup scale-up
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar) strongly preferred
