Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop and communicate strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ vision and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for future challenges
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development and investment opportunities
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on technology trajectories and societal impacts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology assessment, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through innovation processes
- Published author or speaker at global futurism/innovation conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
