Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using advanced trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Develop quantitative models for emerging technology adoption (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps with 18-36 month horizons
- Present strategic briefings to executive board and key stakeholders quarterly
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers and keynote presentations
- Manage horizon scanning ecosystem including academic partnerships and startup incubators
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership within tech/consulting
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, weak signal detection)
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $50M+ budgets
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
