Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce executive-ready futures intelligence reports with quantitative/qualitative insights
- Partner with product teams to integrate future scenarios into innovation pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry panels
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and emerging regulations impacting 5-10 year horizons
- Design and maintain an ecosystem of futurist tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Experience leading global foresight initiatives across multiple industries
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful futures-to-strategy implementations
