Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate insights into actionable strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario-based models to forecast industry disruptions and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and emerging tech startups
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future-oriented topics
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Oversee the creation of annual 'Future State' reports for stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology strategy (preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem (preferred)
