Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation projects
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for future market disruptions
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-focused innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation, or foresight roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful innovation strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience across C-suite, engineering, and product teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, white papers, books)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique, trend analysis)
