Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop comprehensive scenario planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech disruptions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps with long-term business objectives
- Produce actionable intelligence reports on future workforce automation and human-machine augmentation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to build future literacy across the organization
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate frontier tech investments and startups
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record in scenario planning and horizon scanning for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic narratives
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive teams and board members
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
