Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and roadmaps for 5-10 year future scenarios
- Collaborate with R&D teams to incubate next-generation products and services
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and external partners through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype and test future-facing concepts
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and technology ethics
- Advise on policy implications of emerging technologies for regulatory preparedness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published work on future trends or innovation strategy (white papers, books, or journals)
- Experience building and leading cross-disciplinary innovation teams
