Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ industry roadmaps using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation strategies
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership for C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement foresight frameworks to de-risk long-term investment decisions
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders using immersive visualization tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or foresight role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIF, CFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects implemented
