Responsibilities
- Forecast industry trends and technological disruptions through quantitative analysis and qualitative research
- Develop 3-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead ideation workshops to identify breakthrough opportunities in emerging sectors
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation consulting, R&D strategy, or technology foresight
- Proven track record translating trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data modeling skills with tools like Tableau or Python
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation ecosystems
- Experience with AI/ML, blockchain, or climate tech applications
