Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive market forces through 2026+
- Develop and communicate strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product development and corporate strategy
- Present compelling foresight analyses to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, investments, and M&A opportunities in emerging domains
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion a culture of innovation and future-readiness across all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Future Studies, Technology Strategy, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for 5-10 year horizons
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies
- Experience working with C-suite executives in technology-driven organizations
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
