Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-political shifts to develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with organizational vision
- Present quarterly strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Develop and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and global think tanks
- Design and implement organizational change management initiatives to prepare for future workforce disruptions
- Create scenario planning models for high-impact variables (e.g., climate tipping points, AI governance, quantum computing adoption)
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in strategic foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic innovation, trend analysis, or futures research at Fortune 500 or equivalent
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic foresight frameworks that influenced organizational decisions
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience communicating complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism, strategic planning, or innovation management
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston, University of Toronto, or similar)
