Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives and emerging societal needs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and design teams to embed future insights into development
- Present compelling scenario analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Nexus as the 2026 innovation benchmark
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into commercial products and market strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to articulate abstract futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism journals or industry publications
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and influencing C-suite decision-making
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
