Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and economic indicators to develop 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, quantifying future market opportunities and disruptors
- Design and validate innovation pipelines targeting $100M+ market opportunities in Web3, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Partner with R&D to prototype minimum viable futures (MVF) for client-facing solutions
- Author quarterly FutureScan briefs distributed to Fortune 500 partners and industry thought leaders
- Manage a $2M innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation across strategic bets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact (academic or industry journals)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Experience leading cross-geographic teams in agile development environments
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Platform)
