Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technology horizons
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives including trend analysis, scenario planning, and market disruption forecasting
- Drive R&D investments in emerging domains (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Chair the Future Technology Council, guiding executive decisions on long-term digital transformation
- Establish innovation incubators and accelerate prototyping of next-gen solutions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and radical problem-solving methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI ethics, quantum applications, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or innovation management
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio of published foresight work or launched innovation initiatives
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
