Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for executive leadership and board presentations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist task force across 5 international offices
- Analyze geopolitical and economic indicators to anticipate market disruptions
- Design immersive foresight workshops for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Published author in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with AI-driven trend prediction platforms
