Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions in our Silicon Valley Innovation Lab
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives and adaptive execution metrics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation journals
- Experience with futures research methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and causal layered analysis
