Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term organizational planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers on disruptive technologies and societal impacts
- Advise R&D teams on future-proofing product development pipelines
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and innovation partners
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic foresight frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience with AI-powered trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
