Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting our industry by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotechnology, and sustainable energy innovations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Produce forward-looking scenario models and risk assessments for long-term planning
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and critical analysis
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight insights into tangible product concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience with data visualization tools and predictive modeling platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-focused initiatives
