Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce high-impact research reports and predictive models on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead executive workshops to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic plans
- Expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy (articles, books, research)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Proficiency in data visualization and scenario planning tools
