Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology foresight strategy, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map potential futures and build adaptive roadmaps for product development
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions and validate concepts through rapid experimentation
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members, translating complex futures into actionable business cases
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to accelerate 2026 product milestones
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers positioning the company as a future-shaping authority
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or corporate ventures
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or executed innovation projects
