Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps that position Horizon Insights Group as an industry pioneer
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy, innovation pipelines, and investment decisions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research using quantitative data, qualitative analysis, and expert networks to validate future trends
- Design and deliver executive briefings and stakeholder communications that translate complex foresight into actionable priorities
- Champion a culture of strategic agility by embedding future-readiness principles across organizational functions
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate future-oriented solutions for emerging challenges
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles with Fortune 500 organizations
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon-scanning methodologies
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives and actionable strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal implications
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects that delivered measurable business impact
