Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to forecast technological disruptions affecting industry verticals by 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board committees
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging tech trends
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R consortia
- Advise on ethical implications of advanced technologies including AI governance and biotech ethics
- Design and implement scenario-planning exercises for organizational resilience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and strategic foresight deliverables
- Certification in Foresight or Technology Assessment (e.g., CFP) strongly preferred
