Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and emerging tech domains
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Translate complex technological concepts into strategic business recommendations
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams on prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to board members and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP from APF)
- Exceptional data visualization and strategic communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making
