Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership or implemented innovations
- Fluency in technology ecosystem analysis frameworks
