Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries regarding services, local attractions, and hotel amenities.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and prepare daily deposit reports.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area, including managing the concierge desk and luggage assistance.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints and requests professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or hospitality is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (training provided).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift luggage or supplies weighing up to 25 lbs.
