Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces to exceed industry standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens while maintaining par levels
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly to engineering team
- Execute deep-cleaning protocols during guest turnovers and seasonal turnovers
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and sustainable cleaning practices
- Collaborate with front desk and room management teams for seamless operations
- Complete detailed inspection checklists to ensure 100% quality compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license preferred (for supply runs)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early mornings
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems and reporting
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation
