Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy across AI, quantum computing, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and researchers to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Identify emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential through competitive analysis and trend forecasting
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling business cases and ROI projections
- Partner with product teams to commercialize innovations within 24-month cycles
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members at quarterly innovation summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic chips
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Technology Review or HBR
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Security clearance for handling sensitive intellectual property (Top Secret preferred)
