As the Lead Futurist, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop long-term roadmaps, identify disruptive technologies, and shape innovation pipelines that will drive our competitive advantage through 2026 and beyond. You'll lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions while maintaining a deep understanding of market shifts and regulatory landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0) and their business applications
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-forward solutions into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory changes affecting 2026+ strategies
- Secure strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing multi-year tech roadmaps with successful implementation
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, or sustainable tech)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Experience in venture capital or corporate innovation labs
