Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant software systems designed specifically for autonomous satellite swarms in orbital mechanics.
- Lead the technical roadmap for The 2026 Initiative, ensuring seamless integration of AI models with physical hardware constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of aerospace engineers, data scientists, and quantum computing researchers.
- Define and enforce high-level system design principles, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure standards.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and performance analysis to optimize mission-critical operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in aerospace, defense, or high-frequency trading systems.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust, with a proven track record of building distributed systems.
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes/Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, real-time data processing, and edge computing.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with strict regulatory compliance requirements.
