Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and wake-up calls.
- Perform comprehensive night audit functions, balancing daily financial transactions, and preparing accurate night reports.
- Ensure the security and safety of the hotel premises, guests, and assets during quiet hours.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels and positive reviews.
- Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle cash handling with precision.
- Monitor lobby areas to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere for late-night guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business-related degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or night audit operations is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
