Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and common areas including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking amenities
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report repairs to engineering team promptly
- Adhere strictly to hotel sanitation protocols and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocks efficiently
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with front desk and housekeeping team for room readiness timelines
- Maintain organized supply closets and cleaning carts
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently
- Valid work authorization in the United States
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to downtown San Jose location
