Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Perform efficient check-ins and check-outs for late-arriving guests while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer incoming phone lines, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and services.
- Financial Accuracy: Reconcile daily hotel accounts, process credit card transactions, and verify billing information with precision.
- Security & Safety: Conduct regular security rounds of the property, ensure lobby areas are secure, and monitor CCTV systems.
- Administrative Tasks: Update guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) and prepare night audit reports for the morning management team.
- Mail & Messages: Manage incoming mail, packages, and wake-up calls for guests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel front desk operations, guest services, or a related hospitality role.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business administration coursework is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information with discretion.
