Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for real-world AI applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-optimized machine learning pipelines
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction for AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Author white papers and patents on quantum-AI integration methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging quantum computing paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI/ML development with production-level quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and AI frameworks
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Strong background in cryptography or computational complexity theory
