Responsibilities
- Architect and implement hybrid quantum-AI frameworks for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with quantum hardware providers
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into patentable quantum ML applications
- Mentor researchers in quantum algorithm design and quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and quantum neural networks
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DOE) or corporate R&D funding
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and PyTorch Quantum frameworks
