Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) to inform 5-year strategic planning
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Present futuristic scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate next-gen innovations into current development pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications, conferences, and patent submissions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on technological foresight and innovation methodologies
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting future adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
