Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum neural networks
- Conduct experimental validation of quantum AI models on IBM Quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex mathematical concepts
