Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for high-dimensional optimization problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum hardware
- Create hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Lead cross-functional projects with hardware and software engineering teams
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Secure research grants and patents in quantum AI domains
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical roadmap evolution
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or AI research
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex multi-variable systems
