Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional projects in quantum machine learning
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems using IBM Q and Google Quantum
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum-AI methodologies
- Collaborate with DARPA and NSF on national quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency for quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
