Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Algorithms: Design and optimize quantum circuits for commercial applications, focusing on error correction and superposition stability.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Collaborate directly with hardware engineers to bridge the gap between theoretical qubit models and physical implementation.
- Research Leadership: Spearhead R&D initiatives aimed at solving complex optimization problems using quantum annealing and gate-based models.
- Prototyping: Build scalable prototypes using quantum simulators and early-access quantum hardware to validate theoretical models.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior researchers and PhD candidates in the nuances of quantum mechanics and programming.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Mathematical Foundation: Deep understanding of linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development within the quantum computing space.
